Our meal at La Favola was one of my favorites that we had while in France. Their food is an homage to Nice's Italian heritage, so you can expect absolutely enormous portions of fabulous fresh pasta, seafood, and pizza.
Our host, a local, recommended the restaurant as one of the best places to eat in Old Town, and he was right. We arrived around 19:30 for an early dinner and the line to be seated was already growing around the block. It was a perfect night to dine outside and we were willing to wait for a table in the square. Our server was wonderful, so charming and was able to recommend the perfect bottle of wine. The food was served very quickly considering how busy they were and it was delicious. We each ordered a different pasta and sampled each others' dishes. My linguine with clams was perfect, so buttery and surprisingly light. My friends similarly raved about their meals, and we were amazed that we finished nearly everything. If you're really hungry and want fresh Italian food, this is a great spot! -

This place was amazing. Food was very tasty and a very wide selection of wines. While in nice, I wanted to try as many restaurants as possible but I had to come here twice ! The servers are helpful and the servings are huge !

Review for service not food: Did not eat here, rather could not eat here because they refused to let us order one plate to share between two people. Glad I went to read the reviews later as it did not seem appealing anyways.

We came here all the way from California and we have eaten here Four times over the past four years,I must say the food is really good quality and very tasty. And I am impressed with the consistency of their food. And their service was good as well Give this place a try

This could be the worst restaurant in Nice. It is my third night in Nice and have been in the French Riviera for a while. My boyfriend's pasta dish came out and there was raw egg white in the dish. Additionally it was strange that the food came out 8 minutes after ordering. He couldn't eat it after a few bites and after trying one bite I can agree it was disgusting. He threw up from the food. DONT GO HERE.
